Charter


Article 1
All SOCADE activities shall aim to fulfill its mission.

Article 2
SOCADE undertakes to implement only programs that respect human dignity.

Article 3
In the implementation of its programs, SOCADE undertakes not to disadvantage a person because of his or her religious beliefs, ethnic origin or political affiliation.

Article 4
SOCADE undertakes not to support child labour in developing countries.

Article 5
SOCADE undertakes not to apply, in its financial aid programs, usurious interest rates.

Article 6
The services rendered by SOCADE are remunerated only to ensure smooth functioning of the organization, which shall remain non-profit as long as it exists.  Potential profits from operations carried out by SOCADE shall be reinvested in accordance with the mission stated in the preamble to this charter.

Article 7
SOCADE undertakes to ensure complete transparency of its operations vis-à-vis the public. This transparency shall be ensured by publication of an annual report to inform the public of SOCADE’s activities.

Article 8
SOCADE undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of information in its possession, and not to disclose it outside its organization without the consent of the individuals concerned.
